Good luck with that, Giles. I would think that the non-metallic '71-72 color may be an even stronger, higher quality paint than the '66-70, due to the lack of metallic content.
One thing that didn't occur to me till just now,....my ancient old stock of that TRW paint is probably plenty old enough to have the dreaded lead content too. Could be a higher quality paint just due to that??
