I appreciate the advice on the welder (I will likely pick up the Lincon Mig Pak 140 or an equivalent Miller/Hobart unit).
My question was more about (given the three options I proposed) which option would be my best bet - or what people would recommend. Also, if there is anything I can 'verify on the car' that would help qualify or narrow my options.
