I've never had any trouble either...BUT....I was taught a long time ago that boxes should be packed so that they can be thrown around by the Samsonite gorilla. I've gone so far as to have a box inside of another box, with intermediate padding, so that the outer box can get crushed without putting pressure on the delicate item.
