Here are a few original "back in the day" pics......

The first set of pic were given to me by one of my teachers in high school. I had a '67 GTO at the time (1982) and he mentioned he had bought a '68 hardtop brand new. These pics were taken the day after her took delivery in early '68 from Monte Clare Pontiac on the corner of Oak Park Ave and Grand Ave in Chicago. (now the site of a Pep Boys after going out of business in the early 90's)

Vedoro Green with a 4 speed. I have a copy of the window sticker somewhere too.

Check out the droopy LH headlight door and the very poor fitting nose and valance panel!

The other set of pics would make any GTO lover cringe! I took these early '82 after a buddy totaled his '67 gold hardtop by taking a sharp curve too fast on Grand Ave just east of River Rd in River Grove Illinois. Spun out, jumped the curb and hit a pole.

Dunno what happened to the car after I took these pics but I'm sure it was scrapped soon after.
