Very impressive work! That xmember looks amazing! It really looks like you were able to make quite a bit of extra room for the GV to fit under the trans tunnel without issue. What changed? Was it mostly from the thinner Mustang mount or did you drop the xmember mount even lower than before? Like I mentioned, I really like how nice of a job you did on the xmember, however I'm contemplating making my own now since there's a fair amount of modification involved anyway. That way I can also provide clearance for my 3" exhaust.
You mentioned using the short shaft th400 from a GTO.... what's the difference with that tranny? I always assumed that the bodies of the trannies were the same from the short shaft GTO's to the long shaft full size cars. Assuming that was the case, once the tail shaft is removed and the GV installed it should be the same either way....? Please clarify.
