Bird72, yes, NHRA rules for Stock Eliminator are fairly liberal. Much more so than they were 20-30 years ago. As a veteran of NHRA Super Stock for nearly 20 years, it amazes me today, what they allow for Stock or Super Stock.
An example; I ran SS/G with a '67 Camaro 396, 325 HP. These cars, showroom stock, but with better traction, would run 13.90 -14.10. But set up as a legal SS/G, we were running 10.90-11.00's. Today, I see some guys with this combo have run 9.90's! Hardly stock!
