Another option is massaging the heck out of a Torker intake. What I have on my 78 TA and pump gas motor. I know a local guy here in Houston who welded a Dominator adaptor to one and was in the 9s with it and spray.

For mine it took ALOT of blending up the runners to maintain the width and height of the port at the head. Also my heads had been ported taller than a Troker could seal so I had to add weld on the top to get it to seal.
