Actually Brian, Bruce had intentions of restoring the car, even talked to Scott Tiemman about it, however,in reality just didn't have the extra money it would take to do it right, he had gathered up a correct block, heads, tri power , and other pieces to restore the car correctly, Arnie asked him about selling the car back to him or Rick even sent a potential buyer out to California to look at the car, the guys offer was refused of course, (too low). I don't know what he actually sold it for, but I do remember him asking around 10 grand for it, a few years back, not that unreasonable, for a car potentially worth 100K restored at that time. gotta remember this car was a "delete" car (no options) and tri power, 4 spd, 4.33 gears, and special paint code! worth pretty good money on it's own, but with Arnie being involved with it, and race history, gonna bring in more money! I plan to attend that auction, will check out the car and try to see what it sells for! although the market may not be good right now for big money!
