My old motor is a 462 with mildly ported e heads, victor and an 850. Used a power glide and 373 gears. It was very responsive, very streetable and ran 10.50's at 125. I had a 4500 rpm continental in it but that 5 speed will be a real animal in the lower gears. Motor was very reliable. I still keep it as a spare.
