I think there are a lot of guys here running victors on the street, with dominator carbs too, if its tuned right, its a heck of a combo.
You say "mid sized cam" but that could mean something totally different to you than me. Solid Roller, etc., all that stuff can make a difference, esp. where in the RPMs you make your power.
I am presently building a 462 for my TA, and it will be running a victor/dominator combo as well, at least as soon as I buy one for it.
