Sounds like your builder is use to fuel wash problems with small block chevys with their 23 degree valve angle when you run a single plane intake, you`ll not have that problem with Pontiacs 14 degree valve angle and the victor unlless the manifold and head runners where ported and polished to a mirror finsh with 320 grit sanding rolls.
