Again, I don't think anything plugs into that connector. My car is an automatic tripower also. (I've changed out the tripower to a dual quad setup) IIRC the kickdown connector is a black wire with an orange stripe. It has 12V on it when the switch is on, so I used it for my electric choke. I'll check my alternator wires tomorrow to see if I can help you on that one.
