How much clearance should I have between the headers and the steering shaft? I only have about 3/16". I would think 1/4" would be the minimum. I would really hate to have something shift around and lock up the steering. That would make for a really bad day.
I guess the best way to gain additional clearance would be to put a dent in the header tube with a press.
