Bryan, as Bill said the reverse impeller statement is bunk. If the 4 bolt pump that your supplier has, has an impeller that looks like the 4th pump in the pictures I posted, then it will work fine. For a V8 you need the cast impeller that has the tall vanes on the impeller.
