We started out with Hoosier D05 compound and they were fine until we started to make good power.....then the tread started tearing up. We switched to C07 and it made an instant improvement.
Not sure what width you're using, but I just looked at the Hoosier chart and there are some C06 and C07 compound tires in the 31 - 32" range. Talk to the factory and see what they recommend. Look on their website under drag tires "Contact Us" for email and phone #'s.
