Thanks for the suggestions guys.

I think I'll get a new razor blade and slice it so I can spread it and close it over the harness after I feed it all through the hole in the firewall. I agree that it should close up pretty tight after I shove it through the hole in the sheetmetal.

If I need to seal it up around the harness and at the the cut line a little better I'll use some non-hardening black 3M strip caulk to take care of that.
