No I don't know the balance I am not Pete. The number 2500 I suggested to Pete. When I was interested way back when. Current owner said floor boards were very rusty and was not sure the car was worth putting back together. Here's my math, car is in Colorado 1000. to transport back to Seattle, parting it out 4000 worth of parts, 428 core, complete 4 speed set up, posi rear end, buckets, etc. anything else would be hard to know unless you looked at the stuff in person. 4000 - 1000 transport- 500- in stuff that could be good or bad. I told him, its not what it's owed, but what is the least the car has to we worth in parts. No way to know the block, tranny, posi, are good hence 2500. Plus try to give the guy a break on who bought the car a little, without the title. I know he is not going to get one penny out of Gillette, one he did not pay for the car, two sold it without a title and lied about this, three said he was in contact with Pittman which is lie. I talked to Olympia today and they told me there is no way the state will take the lein of the car even if it is that old because a old car could be worth 100,000 or more. Plus I am tired of answering questions about this, I don't want the car and it is eating up too much of time! I am out. My ram air iv Judge is going in for paint in 3 weeks, my 73 sd has the engine being rebuilt, 65 421 ho GP is on the hoist front end being rebuilt, I just made a deal for a set of ported 12 heads with Bill Oxley for 70 orbit orange Judge, 64 4 speed wagon is going in next week for a driver paint job and I just got my 71 GTO out of storage for eighteen years and got it road worthy for my wife to drive. I must be crazy 7 days a week fourteen hours a day and i still have to run two car dealerships! Never a dull moment.
