I just received the part from Ames. The pad is 1 1/4" diameter, 1/4" thick, and the "nub" is 1/2" inch long. It looks like the piece in dlarkins' photo above. $18 is a lot of money for this little piece of rubber, but it looks a heck of a lot better than the piece of tennis ball that was duct taped on to the jack.

The piece fit my jack, which I believe is from a 67, perfectly. Although, given that the Ames description said 68 and up, I'm wondering now if I have the correct jack. It's the silver keystone shaped shaft with square base.
