The '64 -'72 GM A-body cars share a lot of the same suspension components.

The front end on my '64 GTO has lower control arms off of a '67 Olds Cutlass wagon, the front disc brake rotors and spindles came from a '69 Grand Prix.

The easy interchange of chassis and brake parts between the different GM brands over many model years is a big reason why these cars are so popular today.
