Ty, I don't think it is gonna' happen without some cutting of the ductwork on the bottom of the hood and using a drop base cleaner with 2.5" filter. Even with that, it may not clear. I concluded that the performance lost with the 2" air cleaner negated anything to be gained with the intake manifold to begin with. If running a Q-jet, this is one of those situations where the stock manifold or an HO aluminum repro manifold is likely the best choice. If you have a Holley, the Torker II might work but I doubt it. IMO, there is no way a RPM is going to fit with any type of air cleaner that is going to keep up with an engine that needs a RPM. I gave up on mine and have gone to a T/A shaker set up. I have PTFB's air cleaner on for now. It will be replaced by WFO's or a will fabricate something else over the winter.
