Ken, very glad you jumped in to help although its been fun without you. Can you provide your thoughts on how to cam an "original" high compression engine for good street manners/performance with an auto trans given today's gas? Seems like a question that hangs out there but nobody ever really answers. I don't ever intend to go there again (my new engine is set at 9.5:1) but it would be good to know.
