Free? I had to send in 25 cents taped to a 3x5 card with my name and address to get my record. Still have it also, except I just about wore out the first part of the record playing over and over the sound of the GTO accelerating.
My GTO has been the "goat" since the day we took delivery, and I suspect we picked up the name from either advertising or magazine articles prior to March of 1967. It would be interesting if someone could find the earliest mention of "goat" in printed material.
I don't think I heard the term "Injun" until the early eighties, but maybe I just lived a sheltered life.
