I love finding the cars in these pictures, too. That was really what generated the whole thread: the realization of how prevalent these old Pontiacs were in our daily lives back then. Some of these pictures you'll find two or three old Pontiacs in there.

Dennis - thanks for the insights into Springfield Ozarks Dragway and Dave Goldsberry. My parents are from the "bootheel", btw
