The manual master works fine even with the stock 11" disc brakes so It's really a matter of personal choice whether or not to use a power booster. As long as the bore on the master cylinder is sized correctly the manual brakes work very well without excessive pedal effort, a lot of the hard-core Pro-Touring guys actually prefer manual brakes.
The 12.7:1 box is a high-effort unit that gives you a lot of 'feel' in the steering wheel, not loose-feeling and easy to turn with one finger like the stock power box. One of the best upgrades you can make for enhancing your driving experience, with about 2.5 turns lock to lock driving and parking in the city is a lot easier.
The quicker steering ratio doesn't make the car feel 'twitchy' on the the highway, always feels nice and steady.
