Unless Florida is different, you'll need to list the concealed weapon(s) on the permit including Serial #'s. I strongly, very strongly suggest you take a course or two and see if owning a gun is for you. At that point you can certainly test a whole bunch of guns for the size and cal. that feels right for you and to handle it/load/clean safely. Depending on the county you live in and the Sheriff or Chief of Police, it may be extremely difficult to get a CCW.
