A little progress today, went to the wreckers and got a crossmember, picked up a Walbro EFI pump at Mopac, changed the rear shocks for new KYB GR-2s, and pulled the couch... er, I mean, bench seat. While touring the GM section of the yard, I saw plenty of nice light looking buckets. Cavalier and Sunfire seats look okay, and some others too. I've heard of Camaro/Firebird seats fitting these cars, but alas, none there. If I get some time tomorrow, I'll take a small color sample from the interior and see what else there is in other parts of the yard.

I also researched the P/S connections today, adapters are available to convert both box and pump to AN fittings. This makes everything easy as pie. I'll probably use a Toyota remote reservoir for now, they're easy to find. Eventually I'd like a nice aftermarket aluminum reservoir, but that expense will have to wait.

I haven't touched the engine yet.... we have very nice weather right now so I'm drawn outdoors, and I also want to do a little garage cleanup before exposing the engine internals. Once I open it up, I want to finish in one session to avoid any getting any dirt or crap in the engine. Oh yeah, I also learned today that the GM muscle-car pan takes a new style filter, with metric threads. I want to have one on hand before the old pan comes off.
