Observation, from memory the TH350 will bolt to the 2004r crossmember the postion just moves.
I assume you had the TH350?
A 700r4 would've given you a better lower gearset and an overdrive while being stout enough to handle what you're gonna dish out.
Nice looking car, I'm interested to see how it fits and runs when it's done. I've got an 82 waiting in the wings as a project. It'll probably go the stick shift route tho.
