Like I said in my original post, a 4th gen F-body, or '93-2002 Camaro/Firebird V8. The V6's used a single fan setup.

No voltage spikes to speak of. Note that you do need to have a 50+Amp alternator. Also, you need to hook up any electric fan setup through a relay and then to a "fat" wire, like the back of the alternator or the starter solenoid. Don't try to source the power from the factory firewall-mounted fuseblock.

I connected the two fans together in parallel-- they both come on together. You wouldn't want to run them individually because the air would "leak" past the fan that's not running, and you wouldn't get any airflow thru the rad.

These fans are about as quiet as any electric fans-- you can't hear them inside the car, but you can hear them if you're standing in front of the car.

Also, if you have A/C, it is critical that the fans run whenever the compressor is engaged, no matter how cold the engine is. That means you have to add a jumper from the compressor clutch feed to the rad fan relay to override whatever temp switch you're using to control the fans.
