These guys have been around a long time. I've talked with them myself a few times. If they were not good, they would not still be selling as many units as they do. As far as not buying on line, and looking for local shops goes. Unless you have a local shop who knows performance work. Your as likely to be screwed by them, as buying on line. And, it's not like you can sit and watch them work, because they are local. Crap work is crap, no matter if it's from on line, or local shops. Besides, how many cams, carbs, heads, and so on do you send away for work, or have done down at your local Joe's In & Out? So, what's the diff buying a Transmission, or a set of heads from some catalog vendor on line ? So, do what you feel is best for you, and no matter who you buy from. Know their work. Or, return it like you do buying parts right here from PY. If, there is a problem. Again, their history says much about them....
