There's much more to this than "big or small" pulleys! If you're running an 11 bolt timing cover on a 68 with 68 PS bracket/pump than you must use a late 69 or 70 WP pulley for the alignment to be correct. You'll also need to replace the 68 front alternator strap with a 69. You can get away with the 68 but it won't run in the same arc as the rear bracket that comes off the intake. A drill, torch and vice can solve that as a 68 bracket can be cut off, redrilled and recurved to become a 69 bracket. I've posted the matching setups between timing covers, pulleys and brackets a few times, I'll have to dig back through my posts to connect a link.
