The reason I like in the car to assemble it is, Once you get to the point of installing the folding arms, on the ground there isn't much to help keep every thing stable and in its place and thats how things get bent.

When I was ready for the folding arms I placed the header bow on the windshield header and used some duct tape from windshield to header to make sure it didn't fall. Then mount the rear of the arm to the main bracket (cylinder area) and the only tough part is the front of arm and latch and header bow all mount together. Slide latch into bow and fit arm in and use the latch nut to hold it. Do other side and place first and second bows in place. Adjust to bow to header and the fun begins with windows. Just my .02
