Yea, good platform to build a stroker. Any of the Pontiac engine builders on this site can set you up to achieve your goals. Not too difficult with a 400 stroker. A little work on the heads and the right cam and you are there. Attention to detail in building the short block will pay big dividends, which again goes back to having a knowledgable 'Pontiac' shop do the work.
