Do yourself a favor and stay away from store bought replacements. And definitely avoid a Chevy Qjet unless it is reworked to specs for your combination.

I absolutely second that recommendation! The original Q-Jet is the best carburetor you can use.

Cliff can repair those threads, and they will be better than new.
