It'll be a crap-shoot......If you were running a quadrajet and factory iron intake, then I'd say go with the '67 Q-jet cable and '67 bracket......but then again the '65 gas pedal is different than the 66-67.....and you're trying to run factory parts (cable, bracket) that were not designed for aftermarket parts (Edelbrock intake and carb)
If I were you, I'd go with a Lokar....with a Barry Grant or Edelbrock carb and aluminum heads and intake, an original factory look is probably not too important to you....Lokar makes excellent stuff...save your self a headache and do it right Lokar.....besides, it'll still work should you change parts in the future.
If you try to use the factory bracket and cable, you'll just end up cobbling them up to maybe (or maybe not) work right.
