these are the pics, the casting in the edlebrock rpm performer intake was trimmed about 3/8th inch and the bolt with the stude in it's head came from hardware used to mount the rear alternator bracket to the driver side cylinder head on mid 70's pontiacs or it can be found fastening thermostadt housings on same pontiacs.

the hardware mounted on the casting boss on the edlebrock intake is an automotive stud screwed into the trimmed boss and held in place with JB weld. the one I used had course threads that screwed into the intake boss and the other end was sae fine thread

where the bracket mounts to the bolt with the stud in its head is fugly and I will correct it at some later point in time but for now it works ok
