One of the pictures shows what is claimed to be a 65 throttle cable and bracket. From what I've seen in pictures this morning it appears you can either bolt direct to the manifold or use the Edelbrock adapater (?).

Wondering if anyone has a picture of a stock 64 bracket, catalogues don't show them (at least I couldn't find one)?

Thanks for the link; it was a good discussion about the same subject. It also answered my question on what to do at the firewall. I actually was thinking of taking my original cable that is broke and cut out the portion where the cable passes through the mounting plate. Hopefully by doing this I can attach the new cable without having to use washers.

I appreciate everyone’s advice and help.
