not sure what you mean by: 400 cast crank, 250 stroke.
do you main; a crank for a 400 block(3 inch mains) with 4.250 stroke?
make sure you add in what type trans and what rear gear you are going to run.these will effect what cam will work the best.it's about the whole combo of parts and how they work together.
