My Tempest never gets hot on the high way under normal conditions. I am not talking about this 100* crap. It has the Mark VIII. I have the low on at 195* which is supposed to be for the high, but I have the wrong temp sensor. But on high, the car never gets over 190* at idle even in this heat. Make sure that you don't have anything in the way for air movement. Because at high way speeds you should have more than enough air through the rad to help it cool down. What do you have for set-up and your rear end ratio.
I need more information to help with your problem.
