Need some quiet gears
I have a Moser 12-bolt with aftermarket 3.90 gears......they are noisy as hell (or else I'm just too picky), so I'm thinking of either going to some OEM gears.....but then I'm limited to a 4 series gear ratio, or else maybe I go to a different brand of after market 3.90 that are quieter.
I spoke briefly with Cliff Ruggles and he feels like a 4.10 would be too much gear for my combo.......
Dunno what to do.......Cliff says he has had best luck with US Gear, but I don't think that brand is still made in the USA.....quality has probably degraded since then......
What brand have you guys had good luck with?
