I am in Windermere, just west of Orlando and east of Clermont but get down south often. I am actually the 2nd owner of the car and bought it from a neighbor in Miami in 1978 when the car had 3,000 miles. Even now it only has 39K (miles). It was outside in the early years and unfortunatly accumulated some body rust (roof and rear qtrs) which really became evident when I media blasted the body. I drove it regularly until I tore it apart to paint 4 years ago. One thing led to another and it became a full nut and bolt deal since every replacement part I bought was not like the original. So I restored the original parts where I could (blast. replate, rechrome, rebuild, etc.). So aside from one rear quarter that was not an original t/a quarter the rest was cut and welded and metal conditioned and POR15'ed inside. The hood and front fenders were near perfect from an Arizona car (but were made perfect) doors had only a litle rust that was cut out and re-welded and the entire floor pan was perfect. I have certainly gone too far with this but it is turning out to be the best example of an all original car-better than anything GM turned out back then. Could not get the old lacquer paint so it is a high quality base coat /clear coat that was custom mixed to match the correct cameo white color. Send me your e-mail and I will send a few pic's. Also like to see yours. Not many nice ones around...
