I didn't know that about The Guess Who. I always thought their "classic lineup" was Burton Cummings and Randy Bachman, since they wrote all the hits!

Yep, I agree, John Fogerty WAS Creedence Clearwater. He wrote all of CCR's hits, and did all the vocals. His talent as a songwriter is only surpassed by his voice, a voice described by drummer Kenny Arnoff as "straight from hell....if Satan could sing, he'd sound just like John."
