I think the Camaro chin front spoiler on a 67-69 Firebird would qualify too. Again, there's nothing wrong with it, but sometimes you see people advertise Firebirds as "nut-and-bolt restorations" or "no expense spared", and they have a chin spoiler.

Just another one of those things where people may wonder whether it's correct or not, because it's such a popular add-on.

The sway bar deal; DeLorean didn't like a rear sway bar because he felt it affected ride quality. When he left Pontiac in 1969, Pontiac adopted rear sway bars for their 1970 models. Oldsmobile used a rear sway on all their 442's, and from 1964-1969, they could always out handle a GTO.
