This is a rare opportunity to document and preserve one element of the true history of the vehicle. Since the original owner is around, have him produce an affidavit as to the authenticity of the picture and the as-delivered state of the vehicle. Then put the "Ram Air" decals back on it. One of the purposes of "restoration" is to preserve this history.

Caveat: Be sure the car was not wrecked early on, or that the dealer didn't have to repaint the hood for some reason, even before delivery to the original owner.
