I used a product from Sherwin Williams labeled Omni-PAK lacquer blend for Vinyl. Since my interior is Dark Aqua I had to dye both the dash pad and headliner (they came as black). This was done 10 to 12 years ago and they have held up well. For the hard plastic such as the dash insert I first used a SEM product called Sand Free and that softens the plastic so that it absorbs the lacquer better. So far so good.....
