Carlsbad? That track (RIP) was almost on the coast.
Worse day racing at LACR was 112° - and even the POCI drags at Auto Club Dragway a couple of years ago it was 105° with 149° track temp.
...and I had to walk to school both ways up hill, in the snow, without shoes
