thats funny.i bought a 67 ss396 350 hp 4 speed for about 350 in 1975.it's what i drove to high school my senior year.didn't know till after i sold it how rare it was with the factory tach over the left turn signal.bench seat had a few rips and there was rust only where the driverside exhaust was bent up shooting into the driver quarter.traded for a 69 ss nova 396 375 hp 4 speed.now that is one i wish i still had.sold it to buy my first trans am in 1977,bought a 1978 bandit new,took delievery oct 77.guy i sold the nova to,wrapped it around a tree when he lost control of all that power on a wet road.
