Gonna get some crap for this, but C.C. Deville of Poison was underrated as a guitarist simply because of the band he was in.
CC's blues skills were phenomenal, and his extensive use of major pentatonics was refreshing.
Don't forget that he beat out Slash when he auditioned for Poison.
