Sorry RRD,he was likely wrong or was misquoted,Edelbrock has it's own foundry here in the US.

Now that's not to say that some of the stuff they (Edelbrock) offer might indeed be cast or made elsewhere outside the US,after all it is a big company that offers all sorts of products for all sorts of vehicles,but it would seem to be more than likely that the bulk of the more popular stuff Edelbrock casts like heads & intakes would indeed be cast in their foundry in Cali.
