Many publishers have gone out of business in the last five years. Some that remain are hanging on by a thread. Ever notice how thin some magazines & newspapers are these days ?
It's really a sad thing. I'd bet that Amos did this change in an attempt to remain viable and to keep their staff employed.
I have not seen the new magazine but I do understand that many people do not like the new editorial content.
I don't see how a campaign to contact their advertisers to express dissatisfaction is going to change anything, what's the point ?
