Yep, we like to know within ONE RPM what the engine is doing. It really helps identify combustion stability issues during PROTOTYPE development work.

Tom, it's a nice engine. But, there's plenty engines already that will do 150K plus without even needing the valve cover removed; including Fords 3.0 "Vulcan" V6 and the old 300 six holer. I know of a fleet of 300 powered service trucks that have surpassed 300K + miles of hard, abusive use.
